ON-CAMERA AUDITION
MONDAY mornings or TUESDAY afternoons
Coached by Angela with Tia or Justin behind the lens. Each week you will be assigned a scene(s) from recent film/tv auditions to prepare for class.
We pull from a variety of genres and character types to help prepare for you for future auditions and ultimately the on-set experience. Studio Footage is shared each week.
We maximize each actors’ time on-camera to dig in, explore, discover, repeat & play.
Get clear on audition technique, the technical elements of the film/tv medium, specifically the close-up frame, while also working on character development, script analysis and breaking down that breakdown.
Self Scripted scenes can be brought to this class. Actors are welcome to bring live auditions (film/tv & theatre) to coach and also tape.
2 separate classes running. Limited to 8 students each.
SCENE STUDY MASTERCLASS
SUNDAY afternoons into early evenings
Where it all began. Expand, transform, level up and soar.
Coached by Angela with Justin taking stills our final week.
Pulling from plays, each actor is assigned a scene/character to dig in deep for the month paired with a partner.
We start with a varied warm up each week. Through a mix of playwrights, styles, tones and time periods we work those actor muscles while trying to move through potential blocks to help us get out of our way to tap into the creative flow.
Come fill your backpack, repertoire ready for when auditions and gigs arise.
Prerequisite : having worked with Angela before.

SCENE STUDY ON-CAMERA
FRIDAY mornings into early afternoons
Coached by Angela with Justin & Tia joining with 2 cameras.
You and a partner will be assigned scenes from a film or tv show to explore and dig into for the month. Scene study workout + technical awareness.
We start with a varied warm up each week.
The first two weeks are without tech opening up the scenes while exploring all of the possibilities with you now in it.
Two Cameras - Close Up & Medium frames - then join the fun to add all things technical to the mix.
Stills are taken as we go further into the work preparing you to lay down that sweet final footage our last week together.
Close Up & 2 Shot footage will be shared along with stills.

ON-CAMERA FOUNDATIONS
WEDNESDAY evenings
Coached by Carmen
Foundational techniques will be used as a jumping off point for audition-style explorations of characters from film and TV. Whether you are newer to the industry or wanting to breathe new life into an established practice, this class will support you in finding the best ways to make the tools work to support your artistic intuition.
Actors will develop confidence on-camera in an environment designed to encourage play. Justin will join assisting behind the lens.your final week to record the work and share footage.

COMEDY ON-CAMERA
Sunday late mornings
Coached by Izad
Finding your Funny. This class focuses on developing strong, grounded comedic performances for the screen. Each week, actors work with different types of comedic material, including network television, commercials, and MOWs. We’ll explore comedic timing, tone, improv/ad libs and how to land jokes truthfully on camera.
The class offers a supportive, low-pressure space to experiment, take risks, and play with comedy on camera. Actors are welcome to bring in their own comedic scenes/auditions for coaching.
